MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2005-008

          SUBJECT: Monthly Industrial Lot Lease Rates in the Four Public Economic                             Zones

In its meeting on 05 January 2005, the PEZA Board decided to revise the monthly industrial lot lease rates in the four public economic zones (i.e., Bataan, Baguio City, Cavite and Mactan Economic Zones), taking into consideration the following:

  • The need to moderate the increase in industrial lot lease rates charged to locator enterprises registered under EPZA, as approved under EPZA Board Resolutions Nos. 85-033 and 88-001, instead of requiring them to graduate into paying the industrial lot lease rates charged to locator enterprises registered under PEZA, as provided under Board Resolution No. 95-163; and
  • Implement a gradual and moderate 5% increase annually in industrial lot lease rates, in lieu of the 45% and 50% increase every fifth year.

The adjusted schedule of monthly industrial lot lease rates in the four public economic zones, which are provided in Attachment A, will be implemented effective 01 January 2005. Payments made in excess of the revised rates will be credited against future monthly industrial lot lease payments.
