MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2002-018


          To: Economic Zone Enterprises, Economic Zone Administrators and Managers

          Subject: Economic Zone Monthly Performance Report : System for Automated                           Preparation and E-Mail Submission


In line with the Authority's continuing efforts to improve its database on economic zone performance, and in order to facilitate submission of the Economic Zone Monthly Performance Report (EZ-MPR), the PEZA Management Information System Department (PEZA-MIS) has designed an e-mail based system for the preparation and submission of the Report.

In this connection, we request economic zone export-producer enterprises to use the new system for their August 2002 Reports using the following procedures:

FOR EXPORT-PRODUCER ENTERPRISES WITH E-MAIL FACILITIES:

1. Download from the PEZA website (www.peza.gov.ph) a copy of the EZ-MPR Excel file into a diskette.

Please make sure both your computer and diskette are virus-free!

2. Make a backup copy of the EZ-MPR Excel File in your computer.
3. Encode the pertinent data for the current EZ-MPR, making sure you retain a back-up copy of the Report.
4. Send the EZ-MPR by e-mail to the PEZA Enterprise Assistance Department (PEZA -EAD) in your economic zone.

FOR EXPORT-PRODUCER ENTERPRISES WITHOUT E-MAIL FACILITIES:

1. Bring a virus-free diskette to the PEZA-EAD and get a copy of the EZ-MPR Excel file.
2. Make a backup copy of the EZ-MPR Excel file in your computer.
3. Encode the pertinent data for the current EZ-MPR, making sure you retain a back-up copy of the Report.
4. Submit the EZ-MPR diskette to PEZA-EAD.

(Note: The EAD will copy the EZ-MPR in your diskette and e-mail your Report to the PEZA-MIS)

Please be reminded that your EZ-MPR should be submitted on or before the fifth (5th) working day of the immediately succeeding month.
