Pasay City – As the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) celebrates its 27th year anniversary, the top investment promotion agency in the country will be awarding its key stakeholders for their valuable contributions and support to PEZA’s plans and programs on March 17, 2022, 03:00 pm, at its head office in Pasay City.
According to PEZA Director General Plaza, “As a way of expressing our heartfelt gratitude to our stakeholders, we will be conferring two awards under the Galing Pinas Excellence Awards.”
“We are going to recognize our locator companies, ecozone developer-operators, investment promotion partners or Ka-PIPPs, and PEZA workers in sincerest appreciation of the significant contributions and exemplary performance of our stakeholders especially amidst the pandemic and the onslaught of the Typhoon Odette in 2021,” Plaza noted.
“The awarding of our valued stakeholders also is a testament that PEZA and its partners continue to pursue excellence in our mandate and businesses despite the challenges of the pandemic,” said Plaza.
The Galing Pinas Partnership Excellence Award will be given to PEZA’s valuable partners and key stakeholders who continues to contribute in PEZA’s investment promotion efforts locally and abroad, and in providing support and assistance to PEZA’s programs and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.
Meanwhile, the Galing PEZAn Award will be given to employees nominated by their respective groups as model employees who consistently embody PEZA’s values.

Aside from the awarding, Director General Plaza will also be delivering her third State of PEZA Address (SOPA) to provide updates on PEZA’s the performance, vision, programs, and directions in the present and coming years.
